A solution shaped around your work.
Card access is easier to administer when every credential has an accountable owner. Decide how permanent staff, temporary visitors and contractors receive permissions, and how expired or lost cards are promptly disabled.
What this service covers
- Card and reader technology compatibility assessment
- Card issuance, ownership and permission register
- Visitor expiry and lost-card revocation setup
- Door schedule and revoked-card behaviour testing
We confirm the selected equipment, responsibilities and deliverables in your project proposal before work begins.
How we deliver the work
- 01
Map people and permissions
Define employee groups, attendance rules, access zones and administrator responsibilities. Identify the enrollment method and the records that each role needs to view.
- 02
Configure the workflow
Configure the selected devices or application around approved schedules and permissions. Check connectivity and any interfaces with HR, payroll or existing door equipment.
- 03
Test real scenarios
Test agreed employee and administrator scenarios, including exceptions and access removal. Hand over the operating steps and clarify who maintains users and reports.
A clear handover
Agree the records your team needs to operate and maintain the solution. Depending on the selected scope, these can include:
- Device or application configuration summary
- User administration and exception-handling steps
- Agreed reporting and integration checks
What to prepare for your project
List controlled doors, cardholder groups, existing readers and any current card standard. Identify issuing staff and your process for visitors, leavers and lost credentials.
Discuss this serviceYour questions, answered
How is a lost access card handled?
The authorised administrator should revoke the lost credential and issue a replacement through the agreed process. We test how permission changes reach controllers, including any devices temporarily disconnected from the network.
What should we check before adding electronic door access?
Door material, frames, locks, power, cabling and authorised exit arrangements affect the design. Share the number of doors and the access groups you need so these can be assessed together.
What happens if power or network connectivity is lost?
Behaviour depends on the selected controller, lock and backup power. Confirm offline operation, emergency release and safe exit requirements during design, then test the agreed scenarios at handover.
What information should be shared at the enquiry stage?
Share approximate employee and door counts, shift patterns and existing device models. Use sample field names or anonymized examples to discuss integrations; actual biometric templates, employee files and passwords are not needed in the website form.
