A solution shaped around your work.
Reception teams need to know who answers an entrance call and who may unlock the door. Coordinate the intercom, lock interface and alternative visitor process for periods when reception is unavailable.
What this service covers
- Entrance station and answering-point placement
- Intercom call routing and authorised user setup
- Lock relay and power compatibility checks
- Visitor call, release and fallback workflow testing
We confirm the selected equipment, responsibilities and deliverables in your project proposal before work begins.
How we deliver the work
- 01
Map people and permissions
Define employee groups, attendance rules, access zones and administrator responsibilities. Identify the enrollment method and the records that each role needs to view.
- 02
Configure the workflow
Configure the selected devices or application around approved schedules and permissions. Check connectivity and any interfaces with HR, payroll or existing door equipment.
- 03
Test real scenarios
Test agreed employee and administrator scenarios, including exceptions and access removal. Hand over the operating steps and clarify who maintains users and reports.
A clear handover
Agree the records your team needs to operate and maintain the solution. Depending on the selected scope, these can include:
- Device or application configuration summary
- User administration and exception-handling steps
- Agreed reporting and integration checks
What to prepare for your project
Share entrance layouts, door lock details and preferred answering locations. Identify authorised users, reception hours and the expected process for visitors when nobody answers.
Discuss this serviceYour questions, answered
Can the intercom release an existing electric door lock?
Possibly, after checking relay characteristics, wiring, power and the lock’s operating requirements. Door release permissions and approved exit arrangements must also be included in the installation and acceptance tests.
What should we plan for visitors at more than one entrance?
Identify each entrance, receiving desk or handset, authorised door-release users and required call routing. Review the intercom, lock and network compatibility before confirming the design.
What is checked when the intercom is handed over?
Agreed checks can include calling, two-way audio, video where supported, door release and missed-call handling. Mobile answering and integrations are tested only when included and supported by the selected system.
What information should be shared at the enquiry stage?
Share approximate employee and door counts, shift patterns and existing device models. Use sample field names or anonymized examples to discuss integrations; actual biometric templates, employee files and passwords are not needed in the website form.
