A solution shaped around your work.
A storage system can become difficult to maintain when shares, permissions and retention grow without review. Regular checks identify capacity pressure, disk warnings and configuration changes that require attention.
What this service covers
- Volume capacity and disk health review
- Share and access permission checks
- Supported system update planning
- Backup status and maintenance documentation
We confirm the selected equipment, responsibilities and deliverables in your project proposal before work begins.
How we deliver the work
- 01
Agree responsibilities
Inventory the supported systems, locations and users. Clarify system ownership, existing vendor arrangements, support channels and the services covered by the agreement.
- 02
Organize support and maintenance
Set up the reporting and escalation process. Plan authorized remote or onsite work and schedule preventive tasks around business operations and agreed priorities.
- 03
Review findings and next steps
Record work completed, recurring issues and dependencies needing attention. Use agreed reviews to update documentation and plan follow-up improvements with the responsible team.

- Supported-system inventory and contact responsibilities
- Work records and follow-up recommendations
- Agreed support channels and escalation process
What to prepare for your project
Provide the NAS model, disk arrangement, shared applications and observed warnings, together with current backup details and an agreed maintenance window for any disruptive work.
Discuss this serviceYour questions, answered
Does disk redundancy replace a separate backup?
No. Redundancy can help with certain disk failures, but it does not cover every deletion, corruption or system loss. Separate backups and appropriate restore checks remain part of storage planning.
How do we choose storage capacity and user permissions?
Review current file volumes, growth, applications and team access. For Synology, QNAP or other storage options, confirm the exact model, compatible drives and supported functions before selecting equipment.
What is agreed before moving files to new storage?
Identify the source folders, owners, access permissions and available backups. Plan a suitable transfer window, validate sample files and permissions, and agree when the old storage can be retired.
How are support availability and response targets defined?
Service hours, response targets, onsite visits and exclusions are agreed for your systems and locations. The website does not imply unlimited support. Existing customers can create a support ticket and provide the affected service and a concise issue description.
